PUPPETS: EDUCATION MAGIC
Puppets: Education Magic is an annual summer conference for educators to offer skills and training in using puppets in education including: classrooms, special education and bilingual programs, museums, religious education programs, hospital settings, camps, recreation programs, therapeutic settings... it began in 1989 as part of the Puppeteers of America National Festival at MIT, Cambridge, MA., and it has been offered each summer since then. Educators may select to receive 1 graduate credit from the Northeast Consortium/ Salem State College and certificates of completion will be given to all participants.
